I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build clean water projects around the world. After seeing what was happening with Dakota Access, and learning about oil leaks in rivers and other waterways, I could not sit by and not get involved. Water is life! I'm writing a serial story (http://mabmorris.com/adventures-of-the-relic-robbers/) to give back to you, as we help give life saving water to those who need it!
It's so important. As Charity: Water writes:
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world....
Please donate to this campaign -- anything you can give is a huge help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

I wanted to be anonymous with that initial donation--so that it wouldn't look as if I was... I don't know the term... "salting" the mine? or hat? Whatever. I think I was wrong. I want to be clear. I believe. I paid to give water to two people.
