As most of you visiting this page already knows, each month Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee donates a portion of proceeds to a chosen charitable cause as part of our SideCares program. And November is a very special month for us...

1. It is one of our founder's birthday month.
2. Our second storefront is opening in Santa Monica, CA.
3. We started a partnership with an amazing brand that shares so many of our ideals, The Created Co.

As such, it was time for a particularly important cause! We have chosen Charity: water as our November SideCares organization as we know that the simplicity of clean water is something that is often overlooked. In addition to our monthly SideCares doughnut flavor, our new partner, The Created Co. is also already a Charity: water partner, which means 10% of all their proceeds go to the clean water cause as well. This means you can enjoy our Apple Fritter, pick up one of our new The Created Co. coffee mugs, or purchase any mug from The Created Co.'s site, and some of the proceeds from ALL those things will go to the amazing efforts of Charity: water.

We started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build clean water projects around the world, and in addition to our retail efforts, we are looking to our Sidecar Family and The Created Community to help us reach our goal...

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of the money raised in this campaign will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
